I get my stirrers in Waitrose, with a free cup of coffee.

I have a Waitrose card because the first time I tried to buy a single coffee in the Waitrose in Tenterden, the nice sales assistant told me that I could have a free cup every day if I had a card and that he could give me a temporary card there and then, so instant free coffee (from a proper 'bean to cup' machine). I always take the Americano option and then add cold milk, as I am unsure what the suspiciously thick foam that is dispensed with a latte actually contains.

My local Waitrose has a sort of breakfast bar for the coffee drinkers, many of whom seem to have little shopping with them. Even the local bag lady seems to have a card, though she apparantly prefers to take her drink away.
