The "best electric set up" - now there's a tall order wink 2

In mine I'm using an OS 5020, with a 3000mAh 6s all turning a 14x7.

That gives me just over 1kW, a massive amount of power for this aeroplane which can yield absolutely limitless vertical performance if you want - but,....better,...gives good aerobatic performance on 1/2 to 2/3 throttle and 10 min plus flight times! Happy days.

Ive run a Scorpion SII 4020 (older version) Think its 470 KV on a 17X10 APCE with 6 S (5000 mAh) approx 1500W . ESC was a 70amp Hacker. It was the only motor I had spare at the time and somewhat overpowered . The airframe has now been retired and I'm using the same setup on the Wots Wot ARTF. (It will happily prop hang if you are that way inclined angel)

I have just purchased a secondhand AcrowotMK2 and wonder what setups people have used inc battery size and likely flight times for mixed flying.

With is current setup on a 6s 5000 pack it will do 8 mins nicely, but if you use a smaller prop (I can't remember the one I had on previously) it will 10.

It currently has bags of power, so using a slightly smaller prop to gain some flight time won't be an issue.
