Terry Whiting
Richard, you will find most kits and plans give advice of the required degrees of side & down thrust for a given size motor (Elec), or engine (I/C), which is a good STARTING point. If you increase the size of the power source further adjustments usually have to be made as part of the model's trimming. Some models and full size alleviate side thrust by off setting the fin. What must be remembered, no identical model or full size ever have the EXACT same trim.

Keith Grossett
On a slightly different note...I'm just about finishing my bodged up Multiplex Easyglider with a pylon mounted pusher prop configuration. Any suggestions about starting points for downthrust and side thrust? Regards, Keith
