Michael Dearden
Many years ago, 1979, I bought a set of plans from the RCM&E Plans Service in Hemelhempstead, for a huge (1/4 scale I think) ASK18 glider, designed and drawn by M.Charlesworth (according to the plans). I built the fusalage but never got around to the wings etc.I now have time to build this lovely old glider but can't find the wing plans and the "Plans Service" as such doesn't seem to exist any more. Does anyone know where I might get a replacement drawing, or, better still, a set of "electronic drawings" so that I can get a set of ribs etc laser cut? Danny Fenton
Hi Michael, I would carefully check that fuselage to make sure the glue you used 28 years ago is still good, some dry out and are too brittle to be safe.Good luck and we want to see pictures :)
Michael Dearden
Thanks gentlemen. Ummm....Alan, which is "your plans book" please? I don't actuqally have any books! And yes, I'll certainly be checking the fuselage after all this time. At this moment it's still lying in a big box in the loft! Michael Dearden
Following on from this thread, and feeling lazy, does anyone know if a foam wing set is available for this aeroplane and, if so, where I might buy one?
