I certainly hope not! I'm not against 3D printing - it's fantastic tech for us modellers used in the right places - but please place this idea in the bin. The very idea of being anywhere near a 3D printed prop as it spools up makes me shudder...

I would think that printed at high resolution that it would do the job, since it wouldn't be functional it could be printed in with PLA which I beleive can be sanded - the ones impregnated with sawdust certainly can, hmm scale wooden props, sounds interesting.
