rcaddict
anyone managed to print a prop on their 3D printer, I tried but quality was just not good enough filament = ABS 230c layer = 0.1mm infill - 75%
MattyB
I certainly hope not! I'm not against 3D printing - it's fantastic tech for us modellers used in the right places - but please place this idea in the bin. The very idea of being anywhere near a 3D printed prop as it spools up makes me shudder... Edited By MattyB on 30/01/2017 15:29:

Keith Simmons
I would like to see if it's possible to create a multi blade prop, say 5 or more blades for static display. I think of the Airbus A400M 8 bladed scimitar propeller as an extreme case and the pair turn in opposite directions.
Ian Jones
I would think that printed at high resolution that it would do the job, since it wouldn't be functional it could be printed in with PLA which I beleive can be sanded - the ones impregnated with sawdust certainly can, hmm scale wooden props, sounds interesting.
