Couldn.t afford a new one which in 1978 was £540 Bought the jag for £650 & sold it 5 years later for £ 1250 . A few years later it was worth about £36 000. Myron Beaumont Posted August 5, 2008 Share Posted August 5, 2008 Rocketman Not built a complete airframe of GRP but use it to reinforce flimsyish sheet balsa fuselage structures .Just a layer of matting thoroughly soaked in polyester resin around the front as far back as the wing TE .Don't half make it rigid for very little weight increase ! -and you dont need so may formers .When I get the proper hang of the photo bucket thingy I'll send a couple of pics They'll speak a thousand words & by the way it makes it easier to shape those awkward wing / fuselage fillets Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
