Keith Benton
Hi, I have a T8FG Super and I am struggling to set it up for an electric glider. In particular when flying F5J type competitions. I am using an Altis v4 height limiting device. I have set the motor to operate on the RS - right slider, it starts OK but if i want to power on in an emergency it will not re-start. The only way is to disconnect the battery, reconnect and all is OK. The issue is, i believe, having the RS signal time go below 1100µs. How can I set the RS slider to go below that figure? Happy to move it to another switch, preferably on the right-hand side of the TX if that helps. The settings on the Altis allow for emergency re-starts. Te throttle stick T3 is used for crow. Hoping someone can help or advise. Keith
Frank Skilbeck
Keith, I'm assuming that you have assigned the RH slider to throttle, if so does the 8fg have a throttle cut button, that should take the throttle signal all the way down.

Frank Skilbeck
I spoke with a friend who has a 8fg and Altis height limiter with throttle on a switch and he says it works OK, he said check that you don't have the 5FJ software loaded on the Altis as this doesn't allow a motor restart.
