Harry Twist
Hi I'm considering the possibility of buying a model glider kit from "BLLmodel" in the Czech republic - they mainly do vintage glider kits. Just wondering if anyone has had any experience of buying from them / are the kits of good quality etc, any info at all would be appreciated. I'm thinking of an SG38 ( basic glider). Thankyou in advance. Edited By Harry Twist on 16/11/2017 09:36:
Steve Houghton 1
I've not heard of them before Harry but judging by the pictures on the website they look pretty good. The wing ribs look particularly scale like. Steve
Josip Vrandecic -Mes
Hi Harry , model's products from Czeck Republic are generally very good , for example, the electric model's motor AXE (all models) are at the highest level. You can order the mentioned gliding model ... and you will be satisfied. For your information I am from Croatia and I am not their dealer (LOL) but I use their products without any problems. **LINK** Cheers Edited By Josip Vrandecic -Mes on 16/11/2017 11:48:
Frank Skilbeck
Harry, there's a build blog on RC Groups of this exact model at the moment. Looks very nice.
Harry Twist
Hi, Many thanks for your responses they have helped me confirm my thoughts, that overall, the component quality looks good and I agree that the standard of products of Czech model companies is usually pretty good. Thanks for the link to the RCG build - I like the look of the gondola, though I may go for the original "open cockpit" version. So in summary I think I will take the plunge!
