RAF Coningsby Lincolnshire UK.

It's the RAF's tribute to the brave aviators of World War Two. Formed in 1957, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight – or BBMF - is comprised of 12 very special aircraft and for the past 40 years, RAF Coningsby has been their home. Whilst preparations for Armed Forces Day are well underway on the ground, thanks to the RAF's preparations for the BBMF, it's been just as busy in the skies as well.

India - Indira Gandhi Sarani, watch Hawker Hurricanes operations of a public road.

Indira Gandhi Sarani, formerly Red Road, is a road in Kolkata that runs from Raj Bhavan to Fort William. The road, a wide boulevard, was built in 1820. It bisects the Kolkata Maidan.

Army Air Corps Show - Middle Wallop (1965)

Hurricane seen in next video time 4:12 - to - 5:42. Flying closer to the ground in his or her display before all the current modern display changes.

Various shots of the different aircraft belonging to the Army Air Corps taxiing in line across the airfield - different planes, gliders, helicopters. Various shots of air display given by aircraft of the Corps. They include types of helicopters, gliders, acrobatic chipmunk and a veteran Hawker Hurricane. Helicopters flying in formation and some gliding. Various shots of high ranking officers watching the air show. Some peculiar shots of a girl in bikini on airfield towards the end of the item. Girl runs to a helicopter and it takes off!?

Aside from the standard Mark I Hurricane, there were several other models that varied depending on their mission. Besides the Mark II(A&B), there was the Mark II Trop (rigged for combat in North Africa), the Sea Hurricane (modified to be launched by catapult for convoys), the Hurricane Hotspur (with a turret gun placement), the Typhoon, and many other variants.

Australia 1941.

Hurricane V7476, which was sent to Australia in May 1941, arriving in August, thereby becoming the only Hurricane based in Australia during the Second World War, it was disposed of in February 1946. Note the tropicalised Vokes air filter which was fitted to many types operating in the Pacific.

The RAAF serial A60-1 was allocated, but the Hurricane retained its RAF number, V7476. Between 1943 and 1946, the Hurricane operated mainly with No 1 Communication Unit and Central Flying School, except for a month with No 2 Operational Training Unit. On the 29/01/51 it was sold. It was wrecked and disposed of, unfortunately that probably means broken up and sold as parts or scrap.

Llandudno North Wales - 2013

Llandudno is a coastal town in north Wales. It’s known for North Shore Beach and 19th-century Llandudno Pier, with shops and a games arcade.

Northwest of town, the cliffs of Great Orme headland jut into the sea, often where you will find local model flyer's slope soaring.

Ancient tunnels lead to a cavern at Great Orme Mines. A 1902 tramway has an upper and lower section, and travels to the headland’s summit. To the east, smaller headland Little Orme is a nature reserve.
