e-gangster CoG issue

just had a prang with an old gangster 52 that i converted, i suspect the the Cog was too far forward as when i throttled back to land it kind of dived into the ground (all repaired now) also elevator was sluggish requiring a lot of input - does this sound like Cog issue to you guys?

OG, you might find following this trim process helpful. Your description of your aircraft's behaviour points towards a CG that is too far forward but as already mentioned it could also be the thrustline is out. The process I've linked you to deals with how to sort out the thrustline both for pitching and yawing issues. Be interested to hear how you get on.
