LW74 Posted December 26, 2018 Share Posted December 26, 2018 Seasons Greetings and all that. I was on the fringe of aero-modelling many years ago due to college and friends. I studied Aero eng. and I had friends who modelled so I hovered around the edge of the hobby for a few years but lacked the resources to commit. 20 or so years and I just about to move into a new house in East Yorks with plenty of "Man" space and an itch to start flying and modelling properly. So I am looking for a club in the Howden Area or thereabouts. My loose plan is to start with a sim, probably Real flight 8 as I already have the PC and VR to run it, then once I've found a club, buy a trainer and start flying for real. Geoff S Posted December 26, 2018 Share Posted December 26, 2018 There's a very good club at Winterton, which isn't too far from Howden as the crow flies but I'm not sure how easy it will be for you as you need to cross both the Humber and the Trent to get there.
