Stuart Z
Hi I’m trying to mask a small Hurricane canopy and finding it tricky. Has anyone experience of liquid masking? I remember using it years ago but can’t remember much more about it. Is it suitable for canopies? Many thanks S Edited By Stuart Z on 01/02/2019 12:07:
alan p
Should be ok on canopies, as vac formed ones are used in plastic models. Check out the Hyperscale and aeroscale website forums for method/application tips.
Stearman65
I used to use sellotape, if you want to paint a frame on the canopy, cover it in sellotape then cut out the shape you want & peel it off, then spray on the frame colour you want. When dry carefully remove the sellotape mask.
