Hi,

I have just purchased a Radiolink T8FB, I am unable to connect to a Windows 10 PC. The Windows 10 driver loads OK but when I run the software it only seems to want a COM port. I've Googled but nothing helpful. Doe's anyone know where I am going wrong, please.

On impulse I treated myself to one of these sets and have similar problems. I don't have a phone which will do the necessary and my PC doesn't seem to want to do the download.

Can anyone tell me if the set can be used without being programmed like a none computer radio? As there is no labelled socket for the receiver battery can any of the available unused channels become the battery socket or are the receivers intended for use with electric power via the ESC throttle connection?

Help with this would be much appreciated.

The outfit comes with a USB cable for upgrades

The battery goes to Channel 1, for separate supply, or as you say, any free channel

The Tx works as normal without upgrades

Thank you Denis,

I had thought that it would probably be the case but it's good to have it confirmed. I will give it a try with a lightweight model and try to seek help with the download so that I can do any programming. I have a tech savvy grandson who usually sorts out my PC problems.
