Dont ou love it when you get home and there is a parcel of goodies waiting for you , time for some more depron bashing. I have decided to to change the elevator setup, the current one is giving me doubts about strength/elevator flutter, so going for a different set up, will post pics of progress in abit!

Soldering in done and tested the motor and its all working and good to go, so tidy up of the "fish guts" and glue the top deck on! Ran it in the lounge for a couple of minutes on a 2200mha 3s and it blew the curtains back, made the parrot go mad and the wife to run off to the kitchen, so should be more than enough power I hope! Some one left the tool box out side? and my Watt meter etc is bust so I cant give exact figures, but I got I rough gestimate from Motorcalc and I should be in all parameters. A different prop pitch might be required though, running on 8x5, I have thort of a folding prop, but for now I will use this.

A couple of extensions on the servo wire's and you can locate the Rx in a decent place to cut a access hatch or if you can get "girly fingers" to access this!

The top deck goes on, as you can see in Steve's plan's he uses extra depron strips as supports, with more base to the depron you can work the round edges as apposed to the "boxy park-jet"... & save AUW

Well the weakest part of this design is about 2-3mm behind F4, dont try pick it up from the nose with the bus driver in the rear as the fuselage will clap for you.. I will add another 6mm half former or 2mm ply former and Epoxy here to try save dissapoint later!

All is secure under UHU por. The top of the sofer is probabley more level than my building board now so its a nice platform for a over night bond! Not much let to do now! this has taken longer than expected... and no maiden today, weather forcast is overcast and wind for the weekend, so any sujestions on paint schemes are welcome as I havent favoured one yet!

The caopy has been sprayed once, I wanted to see the diffence when you fill the dull depron bits after sanding, so far liking the result, hence why taking time to build!

Thanks Shaun, I will try, was windy today, I dont think the T-38 will handle the wind to well... Hopefully tommorow the wind will be better and I will have to ask my mate to take me down to the field again.

Anyway here is a pic of my F-15 in action

The T-38 Wing loading is alot smaller than the F-15, so it wont handle the wind I dont think! There is a range of trees just off to the side of the landing strip and they produce some turbulance and wind shear, so touching of maidens at this field, would be ok if the wind came straight down the track! Might see if I can fly at another club... 2 cents worth of information!

Well because its doing my headin I have started work on the f-18, its should be ready soon, its a faster and easier build than the t38.

Winter cant be far as the weather is ... why not take uc off then less fixing? folding prop  Extra wih retracts ? would look stupid ha ha... mmm big p40, is this for a maiden?
