Gordon Mckillop
hi all I have recently partially lost use of my left hand, i can no longer use the stick with my left hand although I can still operate the switches, I use mode 2, on a spectrum dx6, any suggestions for me to be able to fly one handed please. I can do without smart or funny answers, as I have had a sense of humour failure re this.
Gordon Tarling
Suggest you have a chat with Mike Ridley of the Model Radio Workshop - I know he's made various adaptations for different people, so I'm sure he'd be able to help. GONZO
Try Modelradioworkshop **LINK** He used to do single stick conversions. Give him a ring. Otherwise you need a friendly club electronics expert to do the conversion as sticks are available. Good luck.

Foxfan
Gordon, I correspond with a chap in the States who uses what he calls a "cuddle box" which allows him to snugly steady the Tx in his left hand while he works a single stick with a rotary knob on top with his right hand. If you have no luck this side, I can ask him to advise for you. Martin
Martin Dance 1
Single stick Tx's were/are very popular in the USA, all of the US manufacturers and the major Japanese manufacturers offered a single stick,(cuddle box) TX. These occasionally come up on ebay. Most will be 54 or 72mhz systems. However conversion to 2.4Ghz is not the end of the world. Again Mike Ridley is your friend. Occasionally on ebay more modern modular radios with single sticks from either Futaba or JR are offered. However be aware these tend to command premium prices. These of course offer an easy conversion route using an appropriate 2.4Ghz module replacing the original module.
