robert mcleod
A quick question! Is the XM+ Receiver on EU LBT safe to use with spark Ignition? Thinking to use one as Redundancy to the RX8R Pro Rx. Having lost a model on spark using the X8R Rx, i am cautious. Had no problems with the Pro and D series all good too. robert mcleod
Thanks Dennis, I was aware of the X8R thread and Ignition problems as I did post on it towards the end. The Rx8R Pro Rx I have been using is fine with no interference problems from ignition, wanting to add another Rx for the Redundancy (slave) feature possible, they reccomend using the XM+ and NOT another Rx8R Pro as it won't operate correctly. No use me using spare X8R Rx which I have as I know they fail from experience in a Gas plane. Any tests on XM+ and Ignition engines? You would think if they suggest the XM+ as redundant slave to the Pro that it was safe with Ignition units ....... or would you!
flight1
I had used a rx8r and a xm+ ( must bind with out telemetry the xm) had no issues, but have upgraded to rx8r pro and r-xsr throught a redundency bus so i get telemetry through both rx.s Edited By flight1 on 22/09/2019 19:11:16 Edited By flight1 on 22/09/2019 19:35:
