E-flite Deuces Wild 25 arf

Recommended Posts

As the weathers been good the last few days i decided to test fly the E-flite deuces wild.

Has any one else got one ?

Its quite a large model...for me anyway. Wingspan 1570mm, the fuselage is 1580mm long. I was a little nervous but not for long, as this model is so easy to fly. I opted for the 25 motors as you can also use 32`s. I carn`t see why on earth you`d need 32`s in this as the two 25`s provide more than enough speed. You can perform just about any aerobatic maneuver.  Flaps are fitted but you don`t need em at all. It slows up really well on approach and just floats in for landings. The sound of those props in flight  are great. I`d recommend this model to anyone.

setup i use:

2 x E-flite 25bl motors

2 x Hacker x-55 sb pro esc`s

2 x kokam 4000mah 11.1 3s

Hi Louis.  Like you I was very taken by the Deuces Wild, well certainly the looks if not the name.

Mine is in the to do pile and will not see air under the wings until the new year, however that will give me time to assemble the necessary hardware.

Can I ask where you got the retracts and what they cost you as I find robart retracts expensive and difficult to find in the UK

Hi Bob. Yeah...the names awful isn`t it.

You will struggle to get hold of 12 x 8 E Pusher props. After a long search, i found you can order from http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/.

The retracts I ordered from America at  http://www.hobbyzone.com/. they were around £101.00 + £20 import duty when you pick em up. Worth it though, wouldn`t be same without them. It says you need to purchase " quick disconnects" separately but you dont...there in the pack. I also fitted an air gauge which i found very handy.
