Piers Bowlan Posted April 27, 2020 Share Posted April 27, 2020 Bembridge Aerodrome is still operational, just not licenced for public transport, so no problem there if they wanted to use that. Also any private strip across a farmers field could be used as long as the landowners permission is gained and not more than 28 movements (take-off and landings) are made a year, otherwise planning permission is required. As this is part of UAS development work sansioned and approved by the CAA, I cannot see that the Island authorities would have an issue with that if the appropriate risk assessments were carried out.
