Phil Green Posted July 18, 2020 Share Posted July 18, 2020 Yes, LiFe is an abbreviation, lithium & iron dont chemically bond without the phosphate, its a valency thing You do have to be careful when speaking verbally about Lithium-ion and Lithium Iron, so its best to give LiFePo4 its full title.
