Peter Miller
In the past we used to hand launch all sorts of models and Werewolf would have been considered easy to launch by a second person. Solo hand launches would be possible but would take some experience.
fly boy3
Thanks both. The trouble with hand launching due a bad t/off field, is that you have to land in same field giving your self more grief. As an ic nut I would prefer to wait for a better time to rog.Would a 46,two stroke be too much for this model ? Thanks
Steven S
In the magazine article Peter says he flew it with a .32, but figured a .40 would be better.
Peter Miller
A .46 would be rather over kill but of course one does have a throttle. If you have someone who could launch for you, flying without a U/C might be an option. I seem to remember that at one stage I had an airspeed indicator on the model. IT could be read with a gadget after landing. It recorded a speed of 75 mph. The same gadget could be used as an altimeter. and I did use it for that on another model.
