Nigel R
Posted by James Humphreys 1 on 17/08/2020 22:14:42: Ok couple of questions Does the tm1000 connect to the 636a ?? And do the sensors connect to the tm1000 Also where does it draw its power from ?? Yes, yes, and the RX, in that order. The TM1000 is quite an expensive way to get telemetry now. Note, the 6610T has no ASX3... the 637T however does have it. The 637T seems to retail for about the same cost as the TM1000 by itself. At first glance it appears to have all the telemetry features of the TM1000 built in to the RX. The 6610T is cheaper than a TM1000. Steve J: "IMHO this is useless except for range checking" The short range flyby telemetry is not so bad for power flying where you are usually within somewhat close range for the whole flight. I can see it would be little use for gliders.

James Humphreys 1
cheers for the replies I opted for the Ar637T with as3x, just need to learn how to program it.

The receiver defaults for a regular set up as listed below, so there could be no programming required AR637T Port Assignments Bind/Prog/SRXL2= Bind, Aux Device Support, Program 1 = Throttle/ SRXL2 2 = Aileron 3 = Elevator 4 = Rudder 5 = Gear 6 = Aux
