timberfix
Hi all, just built a Malcom Corbin Mini Jazz and want to go with an electric setup. Its designed for .15 size glow engines so, just wondered if anybody else has done this or, can tell me what motor size would be adequate ? perttime
No idea.... but old Mini Jazz threads seem to have some electric ideas, too. **LINK** **LINK** **LINK**
Denis Watkins
Ballpark Numbers from available information. The original Jazz could be flown on a .10 which gives it about 125W It weighed 1.5lb so flew ok To make it more spritely they added a .15 which gave it about 180W and made it prop hang Electric wise, look at a 200W package Edited By Denis Watkins on 20/08/2020 06:47:
timberfix
Thanks for the info chaps, it gives me some where to start. Seems as though the mini jazz was quite a popular model some time back, looking forward to getting it in the air.
