barryt
Can someone explain what the S1, S2 and S3 fields represent in the log files? S1 varies between levels 1 and 2. S2 varies between levels 9 and 10 S3 is steady at level 0. I can't find anything in the manuals. Give me a clue!

Chris Bott - Moderator
Aren't S1 and S2 the two rotary knobs? Has the 6 posn switch been assigned as another knob? Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 28/08/2020 14:29:
barryt
Well I thought S1 and S2 referred to the rotary knobs. My Taranis X9D+ does not have a 6 position switch. It does have two Sliders which I assume are LS & RS. I've no idea what S3 refers to!
MattyB
Yep, they are the rotary pots on the Taranis Radios. The X9D and Q7 have only 2 I believe, whislt the X10 and X12 have 2 + a 6 pos rotary switch... QX7 (On face of TX at the top either side of speaker, unlabelled): X9D (same position as QX7): X10 Horus (similar position as above with S3 - the 6 pos rotary switch - in the middle): X12 Horus (as per X10): Edited By MattyB on 28/08/2020 15:08:
barryt
Thanks all. So I can just ignore S3 in my case?
