Levent Suberk
Graupner starter battery box. I print on adhesive back vinyl with laser printer then applied on thin cardboard. There are two D size parallel batteries inside. Cox battery clip soldered. Bob Cotsford
That's bringing back memories of starting Cox glow motors using an Eveready 1.5v battery, AD35 was it?
Martin Harris - Moderator
Looks very 70s but not something I'm familiar with - perhaps not marketed here? I think I used a single lead acid cell back then if memory serves correctly.
Levent Suberk
Hi Martin, it is advertised in Graupner catalogue FS 28 published in 1975. Perhaps it was manufactured before 1975, but I don't have any information about this.
Levent Suberk
I also redraw Cox battery templates for reproduction boxes. I'll upload them here. You can see them in my photograph album.
