Peter Miller
Just a silly little idea. We should always remove props on electric models when working on the bench and powering up the system. How do I know!! When fitting one of those spinners which are held on with two screws I always have to fit them, then slacken them and adjust a few times. I was just taking a prop off a model and thinking about refitting it when I realised a very simple idea would save a lot of fiddling. Before slacking off the prop nut I marked the prop with a ball point pen with the marks aligned to the screw holes. Now I just have to line them up tighten the prop nut and fit the spinner screws first time. Of course if you have to fit a new prop then you have to mark that one.
