Myron Beaumont
Timbo is a genius - He suggested I put a 12V source for a few seconds across my new dead 2s Rx lipo 7.4 V 1345 mAh having left the voltage reducer thingy (for a 4.8V output to my receiver )connected for a week or two .Done it and charged it at 2000 mA on the prolux charger 'til it finished. Guess what ? It's now an 8.2 V battery offload fully charged lipo.It was down to 0.3 V ! Usual disclaimers apply -Quote -unquote -BUT it worked
Tim Mackey
As I said in my original posting to you on this matter Myron.... " I accept NO responsibility for anything bad that happens if people choose to try this "( PS glad it worked ) You might want to just keep a weather eye on the beast for a few days, and also discharge it around 1C or so down to 6V, then just ensure that it re-charges back up properly - make a note of the total m/a put back in when doing the recharge.
