Robert Rundle 1
I was needing to replace a tyre and hub on a 45" extra that I have and came across this design. I am in the process of printing out the tyres at the moment using Colourfabb Varioshore TPU, but did the hubs yesterday in Petg, as it was loaded and the springiness of the hubs seems quite impressive. Btw. Print the tyres first, which can be scaled to suit and then use the same scaling to print the hubs. makes it easier I'll feedback on the success of using them. https://www.printables.com/en/model/117975-a-spring-loaded-rc-plane-wheel-that-really-works/files Rob Edited May 26, 2022 by Robert Rundle
GrumpyGnome
A club mate prints his for smaller planes (under 30"), and they seem to work well for a while but need replacing every couple of months. Interested in a long term review as the ones above seem more substantial! Edited May 26, 2022 by GrumpyGnome Typo!
