Tim Mackey
+ = full range, ( flown mine in a large model WAY out and away ) DSM2, decent compact size and decent price- = no end pin variant.
'Widget'
Thanks Timbo, Nice to know, I was slightly concerned about the AR500 as my other Spektrum R/X's have the remote R/X attached. Any special way the aeriel leads should be positioned on the AR500 ?
Tim Mackey
Yes as this is actually two receivers also ...but fitted in one case similar to the older AR6000 - ideally the longer aerial should be taken away from the case, and the tip of it ( which is the actual antenna) should be placed at right angles to the other short one which simply protudes from the case. stuey
Check how long it takes to respond after a quick power loss, should come back almost instantly. My two took 3 to 4 seconds to come back to life, had them upgraded by Horizon.
