Andy Gates
I am trying to make sure our flying field complies with the no fly zone currently in force in and around London for the Queens funeral. I have tried inputting the co-ordinates into search engines and Google maps and they come up with nothing - it can't find them. Google Earth not working in my current poor signal area. There is no map with the NATS Breifing sheet just a list of N / W coordinates for lines and arcs. Can anyone help please?
John Lee
There is a map on the link here: https://airspacesafety.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/09/BRIEFING-SHEET-RESTRICTION-OF-FLYING-REGULATIONS-CENTRAL-LONDON-9-SEPTEMBER-19-SEPTEMBER-2022.pdf and see also: https://www.caa.co.uk/news/airspace-restrictions-covering-the-mourning-and-funeral-of-her-majesty-the-queen/ but note that “There will be an additional central London and Windsor restriction issued in due course.” I suggest that you keep an eye on the CAA Website
