Nigel Heather
For a given motor, ESC, propellor and battery is it possible to easily calculate the thrust. I’m talking about predicted values here, I don’t physically have the parts, they are still on the store shelves, so can’t do any actual calculations, just theoretical. Would I need something like eCalc or is there a relatively simple calculation that I can do?
Frank Skilbeck
Yes Ecalc does this, Drivecalc (which is free) also does too. Both are very easy to use. If the motor you are looking at isn't in the database then just pick one with similar specs (e.g. rpm/volt and diameter)
