Fuselage repair

I had a bad crash with my Apprentice s, the rear fuselage snapped in two. ( Foam ) Done the usual repair kebab sticks both sides and one under the tailplane, stuck with UHU POR. Very strong joint, BUT I have noticed that it has slightly gone out of true to the left, it  crabed when we test flew it. NOW THE QUESTION, can I straiten it with gentle heat with an iron ? I can bend it cold to the correct alignment but I don't want to cut it again. Will heat work. Any ideas.

A piece of cloth to protect its surface from excess heat and a heat gun, not my experience, but I learned it ( never too old to learn ) Saturday.

Thank you. Please to know it can be 👍
