John Botomley
This query has nothing to do with best aerial orientation for RF transmission. My Dx6i Tx aerial bends at the joint to the left when looking at the front of the transmitter. A Dx7S I have an opportunity to buy has an aerial which bends to the right. I use a soft case for the Dx6i and was planning to use this case for the Dx7s but it will not fit with the aerial bending the other way. I noticed there is a screw in the base of the aerial, and removing this does allow a small amount of up & down movement but no rotational movement. Do I have to partially disassemble the Dx7s and remove the aerial and refit the other way round, or should I just buy a case that works for both orientations? Many thanks in advance
GaryW
The DX7S aerial twists so you can bend at the hinge point t have it either left or right or leave it straight and the DX6i aerial also twists and bends both ways.. I also have a DX7s Edited March 1, 2024 by GaryW

John Botomley
Thanks Gary - sorted. I found that I needed to pull the aerial up slightly first?
