Tim Mackey
Ebay usually throws up some...cant vouch for the quality though. PS no swearing !
richard cohen
Hi Richarddo you want functioning oleo's or just the look ? I have a hanger 9 P47d and i have yet to find any working oleos the right size. If you just want the look then you can get plastic mouldings to glue round the sprung legs. (it was either in the ripmax or j perkins catalogue i think ). The alternative is to make your own .
winchweight
Try these guys. They do scale ones, but also a range of sports oleos.Oleos
Richard Lewis
OOPS, Blinking expensive was what I meant to say!! Cheers for that guys. Has anyone used the oleo legs that Inwood models. There are no pics so I dont know what they look like. I also believe VQ sell oleo's for their models. Same again has anyone used them? The P47 is a sport scale model so I am guessing that these may fit as well.
winchweight
The beauty of the Unitract oleos is they will make them exactly to spec and quote you before committing.
Richard Lewis
Been in contact. They've quoted me £39.00 for a set. Not bad compared to some prices I've seen.
winchweight
And they are high quality materials. I have them in my Sea Fury, had them in my Falcon 120, will have them again when I eventually fit retracts into my Tucano.
