Hi all,
Am new to the forum and have already posted a question which has been answered to a certain extent by timbo, but i wondered if anyone else had converted a Hitec Optic 6 to 2.4 ghz by changing the module for a spectrum one. I know you can get the module to fit the futaba and other transmitters but was not aware that it would also work in the Hitec Optic 6, and do you still use the original arial?

Mike,

If your saying you already have a 35Mhz Optic 6 that accepts a module, I'm just wondering why you don't want to use the Hitec 2.4Ghz Spectra module, it's the same one that is fitted to he excellent Hitec Aurora?

Rock solid performance, the appropriate arial converter comes with it, it's way cheaper than both the Spektum & Futaba modules and the telemetry is there if you want it (also very well priced).

Just in case you didn't know about it, this is it here

Er, the question was asked 2 1/2 years ago, Ian.......I hope Mike managed to get it sorted!

OOh yes .

With it popping up in the Latest Posts I just followed the thread without looking at the dates.

Ah well, never mind, thanks for stopping me now before I get into another one of my marathon posts!
