Should really be 2 between each full rib but I couldn't be bothered with that much faffing so only did one at the time.... kind of wish I did 2 now ! Stephen Grigg Posted November 14, 2009 Author Share Posted November 14, 2009 Not sure what you mean Ed I was busy fitting engines last night so havent started the wings yet but I would like you to explain what the advantage would be why you didnt and why you now wish you did because if you shouldve and didnt then i should and will but at the moment dont know why.Is it something that is shown on the plan.? !!!!!!!!! Ed Darter Posted November 15, 2009 Share Posted November 15, 2009 No problem, the plan shows full length ribs evenly spaced. basically the full size had two 'half ribs' between each of these that went from the leading edge to where the main spar is on the model. No real advantage on the model to be honest, just adds a bit of a scale touch. I only added one between each rib as I couldn't be bothered to cut out more ribs, I did put lightning holes in the intermediate ribs though to minimise the fat content I was adding ;o)Ed Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
