Ernie
Hi The plastic Williams ones can be dressed up to be pretty good. Out of the box, they are pretty awful. the tyres can be scuffed up, and lettering added with white letraset. Creep marks can be painted on with yellow paint. Cut a hole where the valve is, and fix in a piece of tube to simulate the valve. The whole wheel can Then be covered with Solartex, fixed under the tyre, and the tyre glued in place Of course, you can make them, the hubs are the problem, with all the wee holes. You can buy them from arizona modelaircrafters Rims are easy enough ( alloy tube, or the wooden rings that sewing ladies use for embroidery) Ernie
