Dave Parrish
HI all, Just wondered if the thrust line on this model is correct. Have just put one together and the enginr thrust line is at least 2 deg left. Every trainer type model I have built over many years has always had right hand thrust and also some downthrust, Just wanted to check before take off. Thanks in advance DP
Stephen Grigg
Usually the thrust line is built in on an ARTF ,Ive never bothered to check any of my Seagull models and never had a problem, what engine are you fittling. Most of the engines I use dont tend to have any thrust to worry about
Dave Parrish
Hello Steve, Thanks for the reply. Engine is going to be my old thunder tiger .25. At least I know that will be realible. Have noticed the thrust line is built into F1 so must be ok. Unless they had it in the jig upside down lol. Cheers DP

Dave Parrish
Hi Steve Have not had chance or weather for a test flight yet. I also have a J3 Cub with F54S thunder tiger in it to test fly. I know..... should not fly a new airframe engine and radio gear all at the same time but got to get it done just not in wind and rain. Live on the south coast..... thanks for the interest. Will keep you posted (lol) although last time out I ploughed a field with my edge 540 canopy first. To low in outside loop oops... Kind regards Dave..
