Hi Don, 1. I used the ESC only but there is room for a back-up device or separate BEC too. I tend to use an Optiguard in these cases but each to his own. Correct on point 2, with the clean wing/stick up. The vast majority of users do this although you’ll always find someone who prefers the opposite. When you say ‘roll launch’ you mean ROG? Fair enough, but it’ll get away easily with a clean wing from a hand launch, no need for flaps in the slightest. In fact a dose of down elevator will be needed at full power.

Lovely shots Andy. Just in passing, and seeing your shots, I've started a new thread in the photography board for folks to leave their drone pics.

I put the DJI Mini up at the club patch yesterday and, while I appreciate there's a drought, the colours were quite startling. What was a green field now looks like the Australian outback.

It seems appropriate to start a new thread in the Photography board so we can all show off the pics taken using our photography drones. Phantom, Mavics, Minis etc.

I've just acquired a second hand Dart but without servos or the servo tray that slips into the fus'. I can make one of course but wondered if anyone has a template or pic of theirs for guidance.
