Well, it has arrived safely, and undamaged. There would appear to be all the usual hardware supplied, wheels undercarriage, wing joiners, etc. Whether it would be worth the original price of £68 is perhaps debateable, but it looks excellent value for the price paid..

I have just looked at that, and I have bought one for under £40 delivered. A tip when buying from HK, if anything is not available in the UK warehouse, try the European warehouse as the postage is much less.

Re Paypal "account frozen". I have recently had emails purporting to report account problems or some such. While they look most convincing I do tend to be sceptical when they do not send it to the email address I have registered with Paypal!

While not particularly relevant to this thread, I ordered some car tyres online, which it transpired had to come from Germany. Tracking the order revealed that it went from Munich to Hamburg on day 1, from Hamburg to Oldbury in UK on day 2, but it took 5 days for the last 25 miles to the fitting station!

Thanks Simon, It shows why they disappeared! Selling for only £30, by the time that you have taken out VAT, shop and distributors profits, there would only be £15 or so for the engine, including carb!.

Hi, I have some Meteor models engines from the 1980's, which I have not run. I have a 40 and a couple of 60's, all brand new and unrun. Does anyone have any experience of these engines, and how they compare to modern engines. They are ABC, sneurle ported, so should be reasonably powerful. All contributions welcome! Thanks, Fred
