    I'm not sure if this has been suggested or done before, but how about a poll on common causes of crashes? Might be helpful for beginners. My limited experience has noticed the following are common causes, but not common occurrences, at my club. 1) Tip stall on take off 2) Tip stall on landing 3) Mechanical failure 4) Electrical failure 5) Disorientation 6) Misjudgement with an aerobatic manoeuvre I know it is not always clear why a model transforms back into it's component parts, but a best guess is all that's needed.

    Some great photos guys. Flying legends has become a bit of a annual event for me and my brother over the last few years but we missed it this time. IIRC a P-26 was due to fly this year. Which I am sad to have missed if it did. I don't suppose anyone got any pictures of it?

    Hi Guys, I have acquired a sopwith dove model which I think is based on the flair puppateer kit. It was fitted with a built up balsa and ply cowl. Well, I broke this cowl so I'm looking to replace it with an aluminium one. It needs to have a diameter of 180mm and height of about 115mm. I looked on DB sport and scale and theirs are either too big or too small. I would appreciate any suggestions where I might find one.

    This is my latest model. Had it's maiden 2 weeks ago but suffered with serious adverse yaw when turning right. I changed the single aileron servo to two so I could program in some differential. And it worked a treat. I now have to get the hang of controlling the vicious swing to the left on take off.

    I have same problem last night.. Web chat with customer service at 11.00am today said they have server problems try again in 2-4 hours. Judging by the time of your post it is still not sorted.

    A dead cmos battery would only loose date and time settings. During POST the computer checks what devices are available. A dodgy keyboard would usually stop the boot process with a keyboard error message. So can you confirm that your keyboard is working or not? Edited By Hogster on 12/04/2014 21:29:18

    Sorry we crossed post. I didn't see that your keyboard is not functioning. If it is a wireless keyboard then the first thing to check is the battery and then make sure it is bound correctly with the receiver.
