  1. Looking very good Martin, very good indeed
  2. Yea i'll second that Martin
  3. Hi Martin, brilliant work, you have really gone for the full scale bit, respect to you for that. I'll be doing what i can/ feel i am capable of as after seeing Danny's chippy over the weekend, it has made me want to do at least some detail
  4. Hi Danny thank's for bringing the chippy over the weekend as it was great to see it in the flesh
  5. My god Danny it's just brilliant , it looks real. I know your a dab hand at rivet's and i have never done any but having seen this i have to do some, even if they're half as good as your's it's got to be better than just plane Jane covering and painting. Thank's for the insperation
  6. Nice to see you back at it Nigel, your doing a lot better than me at the moment
  7. No problem Danny you deserve all the praise you get
  8. Nice work Martin, you and Danny are flying along
  9. Hi Danny, cheer's , i thought an appropriate primer would do the trick. A bigger scale model would be harder ,i presume ,to do,but would have thought a bit less fiddly as things would be bigger but of cause there's more of it and i think you underestimate your own skill's and attention to detail. I'm sure i'm not the only one that think's this. Anyway what i'm saying is thank's for all the work you put in
  10. Hi Danny would you use the same type of paint on the cowling seeing as it is made of a different material to the fus and wings, or does the primer take care of that
  11. Just Brilliant Danny, just brilliant. when i get back to my build i am just glad i have all this documented here on your blog. This just show's what the whole process was all about , from the start. I'm not sure this much detail is for everyone (maybe i won't do all of it) but it show's what is achievable. I must commend your skill and mindset to do this especially at 1/6th scale, god only know's what you could achieve on, say 1/4 or even better 1/3 scale. Ok sucking up done, no honestly it is really good of you to do this pal
  12. Ok Danny cheer's, will look forward to seeing it then, must see those panel line's
  13. Hi Danny, sadly, no i am on the late shift, but not sure if you would like to bring it to the fun fly, as one or two others may be interested to see it too
  14. Bad luck there John, glad you got it repaired though
  15. Hi Danny I'm still here too just can't seem to get going on mine now the weather has turned so it's the garden or flying in any spare time i have but i'm sure i'll find an hour or two here and there to do a bit when i can. Keep it up mate
  16. Hi Bill it will probably be a general, free for all, i think figure of eight's would be good turning away from the flight line for safety reasons as there would be a need for quick reactions and the odd mid air just to add some excitement , we could always sort something on the week end as it doesn't take long to organize mayhem
  17. Nice job Chris or should i say nice job Vicky, we'll do it again at Greenacres / rcm&e fly in and there should be a few moore to contend with, what fun it was
  18. Hi Duncan it means a private message, but you know that now, and Danny is the man here, follow his build blog it's brilliant Cheer's Andy
  19. Hi Duncan, the hinges were drawn up by Danny Fenton and he then got around 25 sets laser cut for us at a cost of around £20 if i remember correctly, they were well worth the money and were cut from glass board i think. I am not sure if anyone has a set spare but if you drop Danny a p.m. things will be sorted or pop a post on the chip shop thread and someone is bound to help you out. Cheer's, Andy.
