Mignon 150 flies like a dream! Stable, no vices, handles will on the ground too!
-
Regret I do not have a source of kits. But here are photographs of my "Mignon 150" (so called cos it is 150% of original) - copied from RC&M plan and enlarged using Posterazor. AUW is just below 6lb with 5000mAh battery, ply fuselage, built up wing, covering Solarfilm (soon to be mourned!). Waiting on the weather now! Edited By Andrew Bourne on 10/04/2018 09:15:25

Hi Flyers, I've tried numerous times over recent weeks - site is closed down, tried FB message, but no reply. Perhaps Flying Dog just flew away!

Thanks Mal, Only one wing shown, I printed off a 'mirror' in the hope of making it more straight forward! Andrew

Thanks Guys, this is the only instruction on the plan. "IMPORTANT The correct wing washout is produced by fixing the lower sheeting first. The wing is placed on the building board with the lower surface in contact along the entire length in the proximity of the main spar The sub TE is jigged on tapered supports 3/8" at R1 3/16" at R17 1/8" at R28." (where R1 is root and R28 is tip) Perhaps this indicates that the wings are indeed built upside down! But it certainly not clear!

Please can anyone help? The plan instructions for wing washout say "jigged sub TE, 3/8" under root rib, tapering to 1/8" under tip rib". I am confused becasue I would expect more washout at the tip than the root?" Please can anyone help? Many thanks in anticipation.

Did you carry out range check and then not switch back to normal control?

Hobby King Flight Stabiliser i86AP
Andrew Bourne replied to Andrew Bourne's topic in Gadgets and Electronics
Many thanks for your comments guys. I will give it a test flight and report back! -
Fitted mine and connected up, but there are only very small movements to servos in response to large movements to the airframe? Please can anyone advise? Checked voltages at the unit, also substituted ESC for 6v battery direct to Rx. Same result. HELP! Many thanks

Thank you, looks really useful -
Please can anyone help me out with the companion sheet to the 1982 RCM&E SCALE AIRCRAFT EXTRA 1982 plan - "See Plan pack No. 2849 (75p) for further rigging details." I have the plan and would dearly like to see the above rigging details if someone can help?

Algebra 100 CoG?
Andrew Bourne replied to Simon Cunliffe's topic in Gliders and Gliding - General Discussion
I still have my rolled ply fuselage Algebra 100" and the original plans/drwgs - must date back circa 1990ish. The CofG on the drwg is 96mm from LE at the root. This is where mine is balanced and it still flies beautifully. Regards Andrew
