  1. My latest "Park Scale" machine... based on the Dumas Waco YMF-5... heavily modified and using a "Sudo" scale scheme of a Grumman F3F USS Wasp.. PRE WWII.
  2. My effort... Glue gun and Por... Acrylic spray paint.
  3. Used it for this light scale Waco YMF-5 U/C .... the flux that comes with it is excellent, and the solder flows superbly.Yes a stylish machine to say the least.... Staybrite in stock at www.Jaycar.co.uk Edited By Paul Blakeborough on 25/05/2017 09:33:29

  7. Like myself I think the world would be a better place without all the different types of modulation/protocols. Many of us can remember when it didn't matter what make of R/C gear we purchased it was simply 27 or 35 Mhz !! Wouldn't we welcome back those times!!! Now.... you by some gear... and the sellers jump ship... stop manufacturing... move onto something else....change modulation etc etc It's a right pickle! Just a bit of stability would be great. Of course the latest thing is to add a stabilisation device to all the Rx's... before long we won't have to fly the model... it'll do it itself
  8. There's one on ebay... just noted... try Flitehook ?
  9. Another winter build... a "Retro" visit to the first R/C model I ever built and flew! Jolly Roger Imp (Rojair) ... Managed to source a WWW version of the plan, the motor is the original OS 15 R/C... some forty years and it started instantly.. once I'd unblocked the pressure nipple on the silencer ! ... brought back memories, flies nicely on 3 channels...
