  1. Hello Jon. Sad news indeed. Are international sales available? I currently own 3 Lasers and would love to add another one or 2 before you go but given I'm in Australia obviously international postage would be required.
  2. Do you know what the last model pictured is called? Looks pretty cool.
  3. It is one part of building that I thoroughly enjoy haha. And on the other end of the spectrum I hate making and putting in shear webs. I don't know why but they just bug me hahaha.
  4. G10 is the best and worst stuff both at the same time haha. It makes great horns and hinges but geez it is terrible stuff to cut haha. You're making excellent progress too. Keep up the great work.
  5. That looks cool. A friend has just gifted me two 90mm EDF's. That scaled up slightly to suit would be awesome. Just saying 😉
  6. I can't help but notice that the Laser Engines website is not working. I hope all is ok with Laser Engines.
  7. Mate if it was in Australia and close-ish to me I would have snapped it up haha.
  8. Is that a Phoenix Models Bulldog 😮 If so I had one years ago but when I had it It was a little above my skills at the time. It flew awesome but I just struggled a little landing it. Fast forward to now I wish I could get my hands on another one but they stopped making them years ago 😢
  9. I like the Kwik Fli's so I'll be sure to watch your progress 🙂
  10. Here's my latest completed build. It is an RCM PT-20. Not the Great Planes version which is different to the original RCM version. I downloaded the plans from Outerzone. It came in at 1.25kg and is powered by a Magnum .25. I hope to do the maiden soon and then hand it over to my kids to fly 😃
  11. You could call it something like The Rhombus or perhaps the Diamond Dart. Just a couple of suggestions haha. Looks awesome and looks like it flies well. Congratulations.
  12. Hello Paul, Do you have any details on the little racer? It looks a bit like a Cassutt Racer. Did you do a build thread? Very cool.
  13. Congratulations. That's a good looking model. Is there a build thread or somewhere where we can see some details?
  14. Eric, asking if we want a build log of something cool like the Sunderland is like asking if we want blue skies and no wind to fly in. Of course we do 😄
  15. I love the Velie Monocoupe. Such a pretty little plane. There's a guy in my club that built one with an open rocker OS. Everytime I see it I say to him "I hope you're looking after my plae" hahaha. Maybe I'll get around to building one one day. I have a couple of small 4 strokes that are spare so I'd use one of those 😄
  16. Peter please tell us that the plans will be available for the Velie Monocoupe 😃 Have you got any details on it?
  17. That's the one haha. Thanks. Jon's developments are our field of dreams haha.
  18. Your boss must not be much of a visionary like yourself. You can't sell what you don't have. It's like that saying from that movie of the name that escapes me. "Build it and they will come". I have a a 360v for a project but I have often thought of buying another one for another project that I have a Zenoah G62 for but given that they have never been in stock when I've looked I've just dismissed the idea.
  19. Thanks for the update @dhendley. Although I was a little grumpy to begin with I found a work around and it's all good but I do look forward to having the full size plans available once it is sorted out. Thanks in general for offering up the plans digitally 👍
  20. Haha and here I was thinking I was doing something wrong haha. Every time I put in my email and customer ID it was telling me that my details were wrong. Glad to know I'm not going crazy haha.
  21. Well I thought about it long and hard. I played around with the pdf that you can download and played around with my printer and pdf settings and got a reasonable result so I decided to renew my subscription as just a Digital one. I figured that if I really needed the printed magazine that I could just buy it when it hits the stands. I would however like to see the full size plans placed somewhere like a drop box or something like that where subscribers could download those instead of the small ones. That would be the best solution I think.
  22. Yes I agree. It's great to see the step forward and offering the plans but having the ability to download the full size plans is necessary.
  23. Yes it might be 17GBP if you were to buy the actual plans from Sarik but yes the free offering in the digital sense is not worth it at the moment. At this stage I'm leaning towards just re-subscribing to the Print and Digital so that way I do get the value.
