  1. Thanks for your prompt reply David. No, I haven't enquired of the plans dept. as I'm just looking for possible contenders at the moment. From your comment regarding back-issues, do I take it that if I ordered a back-issue it would come complete with the free plan? I had always assumed that would not be the case - don't know why really! GDB
  2. In the October 2010 edition of RCME the featured plan was for Lindsay Todds' Zulu-ET, a high wing trainer type plane. In the plans service I can only find Zulu-E, the low wing version featured in 2009. Does anyone know if the plan for the ET variant available anywhere? Thanks GDB
  3. Thanks for the plan link WolstonFlyer. When I search for Tucano all I get is this: Search Results for - tucano Articles View all results in Articles (1) Seagull Super Tucano Forums View all results in Forums (22) World Models Tucano 60 - Leccy or 91 4st? Shorts Tucano Tucano 30 None of which refer to the plan - what am I doing wrong?? GDB
  4. I may be missing something here, but, I can't find a plan for the Tucano anywhere in the MHS plans service. If it is to be a mass build where are the plans available from? GDB
  5. The pin positions of the FrSky rx are the same as the Futaba 617, i.e. 1 Ailerons (left aileron) 2 Elevator 3 Throttle 4 Rudder 5 Gear 6 Flaps (right aileron) 7 Battery If you are using an ESC for electric flight then the BEC goes to position 3 and will power the receiver and servos, and will also control the throttle. The throttle 'servo' needs to ne reversed for Futaba transmitters. GDB
  6. I use 2200mAh 11.1V (3S) in mine. I bought the plane, motor and batteries from BRC Hobbies. The 2200mAh battery gives about 15/20mins flight time in fairly calm conditions. GDB
  7. As per the manual, connect the left wing servo to channel 1 and the right wing servo to channel 2. Then reverse the servo on the left wing - do the surfaces now move as expected? Make sure they move in the correct direction (not the opposite of what's required) - if not reset the left wing servo to normal and reverse the right wing one. G
  8. Look at http://www.micronradiocontrol.co.uk/esc_tornado.html Instruction manual for all ESCs is available via the link.
