  1. We have had a very similar problem at our field, not one moaning 'Lady' but several golfers! It got so bad that members were reluctant to fly and prospective members were more than put off about joining. The way we got roound the problem, (I'm letting the cat out of the bag with this one) was to invite the Golf Club Secretary round (without our members knowing) to see how we fly. He saw that members were not causing the problems the golfers were reporting and we have heard nothing more since. It may be adventagous for you to do something similar like invite the farmer who owns the field and a few other people from the nearby area to visit your field, on perhaps a buisy day, to see for themselves that none of the members or their models are causing any problems. As a last resort, if it does come to a point where you may be evicted, you can claim "Squaters Rights" as you have been there for over 10 years Edited By Dave Wilson on 18/08/2011 00:11:16

  4. Hi All BMMFC have organised its first Indoor Flying Event on Sunday 28 March 2010. It is to be held at Parrenthorn School Sports Hall Heywood Road Prestwich Manchester M25 2GR. Not only are we holding the indoor flying, but we are also having a Swapmeet on the same day at the same place in the Assembly Hall.   Heli flying is also welcome on the outdoor Astroturf pitch so there will be something for everyone.   All are welcome and anyone can fly as long as you can show proof of BMFA Insurance. If you do not have BMFA Insurance, never flown RC or the kids want to have a go, then one of our instructors will be more than happy to let you have a go using the "Buddy System"   If you would like more information on both the Indoor flying and/or swapmeet, please see our website www.bmmfc.com and follow the links on the main page or text INFO INDOOR to our new FREE BMMFC Text Information Service 07576719883   Thanks for reading and hpe to see you at the event Regs Dave

  7. Hi Andy I may have something that could work on the fairings. It's "Artist's Past", used on paintings to build up texture. I have used it several times to fill in scratches and dents on my trainer, it sets hard and obviously is easy to paint over. Depending on how much is needed on the fairings it might do the job. (it can be built up over several layers) You know how to contact me if you want to give it a try.   Oh! Oliver should be getting his "Membership Card" soon! Will give Ian a shake to hurry it up   Regs Dave
