  1. Someone told me that if you add 1 teaspoon of fine grinding paste to the fuel it helps bed the engine in better, Is this true, As anyone tried it, Cheers.
  2. Flybaby, 2.4 meter wingspan, Powered by a ASP 160 flat twin. 6th flight today,
  3. Why do you need to pay someone to build a website, You can build them yourself for nothing, Ive just done a new website for our club, Im no expert but once you put it in the right places you get hits, Also submit your url web address to google and bing to get in the search engines. Check out our free website, **LINK**
  4. Shame he does'nt reply to his emails, 12 months down the line nothing, His loss not mine,
  5. There you go steve they are free, http://www.wrenturbines.co.uk/mw54-turbo-jet-and-turbo-prop-second-stage-plans Edited By Chris Bott - Moderator on 20/07/2014 21:05:38
  6. Hi pc, yes your right home built turbines seem to of faded, Regards the plans for the wren turbine you can buy the turbine wheel and compressor wheel from wren, They are available, Its certainly a challenge to build one but the results are amazing, I still have my homebuilt KJ66 something i would never part with, Its going in my new jet trainer soon as ive covered it.
  7. Wren are doing plans for the home turbine builder, Been out a while now, Anyone had a go at it?
  8. Suddenly, the plane seems to hike on a load of up-elevator and pitches towards the ground. I had not made any elevator input to cause this. Seen it loads of times, And its happend to me, Not enough elastic bands to hold the wings down, Air gets under the leading edge lifting the wings, Hence the full sudden upward movement without doing anything,   Edited By stevejet66 on 29/04/2014 00:28:43
  9. Well alan its a good idea to see how things work rather than have a missile on your hands and all goes wrong, Maybe then move on to a different airframe, learn in small steps i say If you want more speed and thrust run them on methanol as they do in the states.
  10. ive just brought a hobbyking pulsejet 3lb thrust and im sure i will fly mine at some point, Just to add to some off the comments yes they are very fast but for the hobbyking pulsejet it wouldnt pull the skin of a rice pudding, It would be perfect on an irvine 40 trainer airframe, My sc 32 engine only produces 2.5lb of thrust i use for my jumper 25 and thats not that quick. 11. This is just bizarre, Ive raced at this stadium (speedway bikes) Many many times over the years and it really is out of the way. If you want peace and quiet  why buy a property where theres a racing stadium, Plus mildenhall airbase situated down the road, All said and done its just another planned episode of making money. New house, 20 grand better off! they werent that stupid. Edited By stevejet66 on 02/04/2014 19:00:28 Edited By stevejet66 on 02/04/2014 19:01:51
