My Wotswot. XL joined its older brother today, these two are a pleasure to fly, even the pilot enjoyed himself

I have a DLE30 in mine with the servos for the elevators mounted in the tail, batteries placed under the servo tray for the rudder servo got it to balance without any extra lead, i find the 30 more than enough for loops as big as you want it will take off in a couple of meters without trying.

I have one, i'm using silicone tube (i know for nitro) for the pressure line from the exhaust to the tank, it handles the heat with no problems, with no signs of it breaking down yet (about 9 months use so far). The supplied line for mine kept slippng off when it got hot.

Just a couple from our annual seaplane fly in (Twin Cities Model Aircraft Club 2016 Seaplane Event) The boats name is KUMAGUTZA not a bad one for a rescue boat. -
For me all my models are now gas of various makes ( OS, DLE & RCGF ) main reason being cost of running glow ($50 - $60 for 4 litres and gas/oil mix about $6 for same amount)(about £30-35 per gallon for glow about £6 for gas/oil)and the efficiency of the gas I usually use about 1/3 the amount of fuel in a flying session. Admittedly the gas cost more to set up but that is made back in a few weeks of flying. As for power difference I have a friend who has the same model (Calmato 60 alpha) with a glow engine fitted his is a 60 size not sure of make mine is a OS GGT15 and mine out performs his in every way. With no more vibration noticable. The mayority of new models turning up are usually gas powered and once setup and tuned just keep going. Just from my personal experience I won't be going back to glow, but i wont bad mouth the gents who enjoy the clean up of there oil covered models. Let the games begin Neil

I must be one of the lucky few whose better half encourages me to go flying. Before last Chirstmas she came with me to the local shop looked up on wall saw a Hanger 9 Corsair, said to the gents behind the counter I'll put that and the engine to suit on layby, so who's a lucky boy. A few guys at the club want my wife to have a chat with there wifes. Neil Edited By Itisme on 05/10/2016 10:46:59

Hi Percy, At our club we have a few members who on occasion drop bombs, all spectators are a minimum 150 meters from the strip and the only people near the strip are pilots and callers, thanks for your concern. I'm just trying to work out how to make a drop that requires both switches to be in the active position, to prevent the accidental realase from the flick of one switch. Neil

Greetings all, I don't know if its possible but can you set up a DX18 so that 1 switch (left lever) enables the bind button ( switch I ) to acitvate a servo set on aux4 to release a bomb. So the bomb drop will only occur when both the left lever is in the correct position and the I button is pressed, just to prevent accidental release Thanks for you help Neil
