  1. I have the F4 Wildcat only flown twice, but on rails as you say
  2. Lovely model, I have always wondered... that the dome style spinners seem to take 50% of the propeller's potential, I suppose its the same with a large radial engine. I always believed that the prop created forward thrust from the centre out?? I'm sure someone has the answer. She's a beauty Martin
  3. This was my first introduction into aero modelling way back when, she was powered by a .049 DC Wasp and was way to quick for me so my dad used to fly her. He hated it as it as it was too quick for him too! I would love to have something in my hanger of similar size and style, electric of course. If I remember, she has solid sheeted wings and tail feathers so would be nice and quick to build. Does anyone have memories of The Nipper? and having little building experience where would one start?
  4. I sit here in post lockdown in my new work space we now call "the office" (spare bedroom with not enough room to spin a rat) however I am very comfortable with a picturesque view of cows and their calves grazing in the sunny yet blustery weather. I travelled a lot in my job pre covid, so things have changed massively, due to work commitments I have never had enough time to fly, I joined a club many years ago and they were a really nice bunch who helped a lot, but stupidly relinquished the membership due to work...oh how I regret this now with more time on my hands. So I now have more time to fly, surrounded by fields that I cannot use (Article 16 and livestock etc....) and to top the lot, a mate who has been letting me fly on a small patch of green coloured stuff (contains some grass) hand launch and belly land of course, has now decided that he's digging it up to create a fishing lake! Several attempts to join / or even get a reply from nearby clubs so far unsuccessful and I thought our sport was crying out for new members? Oh what a day...
  5. Here you will find out specs and dimensions www.jerryhanson.co.uk

  9. Hello TWS, I have recently acquired the Dynam Spit and read this build / conversion with great interest, sorry if I’m asking questions that have gone in the past, but can you help, I would like to repaint the model, but I am struggling to find the colour codes, do you remember what you used, thanks in advance.
  10. Ordered said item online with Wireless Madness's eBay shop for £2.99 delivered, decent Overlander one too. Interestingly to buy direct from Overlander's website the lead was £1.99 but they wanted £3.00 postage!!
  11. Hi all, looking for a lipo voltage percentage checker for tiny 2s battery. The plug on the battery is suitable for eflite ultra micro, any suggestions ? Thank you
  12. Hi Jolliffee, Thanks for that, I managed to squeeze it in, my problem was the orientation of the plug sockets on the RX, it made the install very tight, but all done now. Now time for the weather to calm ready for the maiden. Thanks for you help.
  13. Interesting, when you look at his other items, he's selling an electric quad cause he's into nitro...........like he say's "not very good with computers"
  14. Do you mean allowing the aerial to show ? Not sure if I fancy that, do you have any pictures. Thanks Pete
  15. Can I ask for some help please. I have the Durafly Junior, I have concerns about the receiver installation. I am using a Spektrum full range receiver and standard installation stipulates a 90 deg seperation of the aerials, there is simply no space, any advice?
