  1. Hi Stewart, I fly the 36" Tomboy and just use a standard AAA NiMH 4.8v 800mAH pack from Overlander. The weight diffrence is only about 11g and if you buy the square pack it will sit between F1 and F2 which puts it ahead of the C of G which is the best place for a little extra weight! This gives me piece of mind that I'm not going to run out of battery! Anyway, enjoy your Tomboy Bob
  2. Peter Rose was the person I was thinking of. John is sending you his details I think
  3. Hi, Andrew Boddington had some for sale a few monthes ago, I think I read it in RCM&E. As E.D. has said there are a couple of people in the vintage circuit who make these. I'll see if I can find any details when I get home from work
  4. Staples used to do a good range of elastic bands, though I'm not sure if they do the larger sizes
  5. Good question. I can't find any either, apart from the "ribbed" material used for flooring etc. It can be purchased through model engineering companies such as Chronos, but only in small sheets and at a price Anyone out there know a source of supply?
  6. I'm building a twice size KK Ladybird, powered by a Saito56 and three functions. The plans are none to acurate and detail somewhat lacking! I've been given some original plans which have proved helpful
  7. Go to the Solarfilm web site, they do a couple of really informative video's which show various covering techniques
